We are looking for a part time Physiotherapist to help expand our growing practice. Ideal for someone looking to top up their NHS hours with some private clinic work. Candidates should be willing to look beyond the normal exercise prescription and have good experience of hands on treatment.
Previous massage experience is essential. As is a desire to go beyond the standard approach to physiotherapy. Anyone with working knowledge of Douglas Heel’s Be Activated Techniques and / or Thomas Myers’ Anatomy Trains will be looked upon especially favourably. Working knowledge and experience of Maitland and Mulligan mobilisation will also be useful.
Work is on a freelance basis. The ability to work evenings and weekends is preferable. This is currently a part-time roll but could be expanded to a full time roll based on success rate with clients.
We are looking for a Graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree – or a very good reason why you didn’t get a 2:1! Previous experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate. Whilst technical knowledge is vital we will be appointing mainly based on personality and the candidates passion for Physiotherapy and the desire to learn new progressive approaches beyond the norm.
Extensive training will be provided to bring the successful candidate to ensure the excellent reputation of the clinic is maintained. Once attained the successful physio will be encouraged to continue their development in whichever way they feel most appropriate. Bringing their additional knowledge back the clinic and sharing with colleagues. Engendering an atmosphere on continued learning.
If you are truly interested in the ethos of the practice please write a unique and inspiring covering letter and send it with your CV to info@SwindonSportsTherapy.co.uk.
